UrSuperMart Fraud Protection & High-Risk Order Policy
UrSuperMart Fraud Policy for High-Risk Orders
At UrSuperMart, our top priority is to prevent fraud and protect you, our valued customer. We have put strong safeguards in place to ensure your shopping experience is secure and that your personal and payment information remains safe at all times. Our fraud policy exists solely to shield our customers from unauthorized transactions and reduce the risk of loss for everyone who shops with us. Our goal is to ensure that every transaction on our site is safe, secure, and handled with the utmost care, so you can enjoy your shopping experience without worry.
1. Automated Fraud Review
All orders placed on UrSuperMart are subject to Shopify's automated fraud analysis. If an order is classified as high risk, it will be flagged for immediate review and verification. High-risk orders may display one or more of the following indicators:
- Characteristics match patterns observed in previous fraudulent orders
- Billing street address does not match the credit card’s registered address
- Billing ZIP or postal code does not match the credit card’s registered address
- Shipping address is a significant distance from the location of the IP address used to place the order
- Credit Card Verification Value (CCV/CVV) does not match the card provided
Any combination of these factors may trigger a fraud alert and require additional verification before the order can be processed.
2. Proof of Transaction Legitimacy
UrSuperMart will require the customer to provide proof that the transaction is legitimate. Acceptable forms of verification may include, but are not limited to:
- A clear picture of a State or Government-issued photo ID
- Other forms of identification deemed necessary to verify identity
- Proof of shipping address, such as a recent utility bill, lease, or official document; this must be in the buyer’s name and match the shipping address provided
- Order confirmation email or other documentation requested by our fraud team
All documents must be clear and authentic. Failure to provide valid documentation upon request may result in cancellation of the order and applicable fees.
3. Order Cancellation and Refunds
- If, after review, the transaction is deemed illegitimate or fraudulent, the order will be canceled.
- The total amount charged to the payment card will be refunded, minus the following:
- Applicable Shopify payment processing fees
- A 5% Fraud Investigation Fee
4. Buyer Contact and Verification Attempts
- UrSuperMart will use the email address and phone number provided at checkout to verify your information and contact you regarding order legitimacy.
- Up to three (3) contact attempts will be made. If we are unable to reach the buyer due to incorrect information or lack of response, the order will be canceled after the third attempt and the above fees will be charged.
- Please note: UrSuperMart is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or losses that result from the customer providing an incorrect or misspelled email address or phone number, or using false information during checkout.
5. Terms and Acceptance
By placing an order with UrSuperMart, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms and conditions outlined in this policy, including the process for fraud investigation, possible fees, and order cancellation procedures. You fully understand and agree to abide by these terms.
6. Policy Transparency
- This policy is displayed publicly to ensure customers are aware of our fraud prevention procedures and possible fees associated with high-risk or unverified orders.
- UrSuperMart reserves the right to update this policy to address new fraud risks or changes in Shopify’s fraud screening capabilities.
